Okay, I am wanting to some extra money online but still be able to stay at home with my kids. Right now I work 3 nights a week at a hospital and don’t want to be driving all over the place from one job to the next. I am considering Medical transcription since I am a nurse, however I have been told by a friend at work that you have to be a really fast, accurate typist. I am pushing it to say that I can type 40wpm. How does working online differ from working at a clinical site. If you work online can you work at your own pace? I’m sure there are deadlines to meet, right?
Also, since I am not a fast typist can I purchase some voice recognized medical dictation software that would help me out.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
