So when talking using voice chat with a microphone in Yahoo conference does it add charge on top of the broadband charge or is it free??

I’d like to know any free web service or web site, which can be used to extract stock market data (like Yahoo Finance), Web service is preferred, but other format OK too.
Here are some questions, which I am most interested in now.
1. A list of SP MidCap 400 or SmallCap 600 with information of sub-industry/industry/sector etc (I found an one for SP500 on Wikipedia and SP web site)
2. Financial calendar to trace earning conference etc.
Thanks

My family is able to talk hands free in Yahoo Instant messaging. It seems all the family is in a windows operating system and I am the only Mac user. They are telling me when they conference each other they use their web cams and are “hands free” by checking a box in the conference they use. Are there any Mac OSX users out there who can help me go “hands free” with the rest of my family? Please help. Nick S.

I’m CEO of Zenitum, Inc, a small startup company in Seoul, Korea. We launched a web 2.0 service web site called Envible.com (http://www.envible.com) few weeks ago. Primary focus on the site is “infomal learning.” In Envible, people can meet ohters over the world and engage in conversion sessions then learn things.
We took casual conversion based informal learning metaphor to the site. The site allows people to share knowledge pakaged in multimedia files (i.e. videos, audios, documents, etc). Also, it has a similar features like here, answers,yahoo.com, for posting specific questions. Moreover, people can meet on our free flash based web conference so that they can teach & learn. By allowing saving the web conference sessions, other people with same interests can learn by re-palying it later. My intetion was to create upward sprial effect which people create more knwoledge based on others’ knowledge.
What would be the best way to market this baby to the world? Plz give me some idea!

I am looking for a website that offers video conferencing?
I want to host a video conference for possible clients. I want them to be able to type in questions similar to a webinar but see and hear me on their computer screen. Does anyone know of a company on the internet that provides that service. I would like for it to be a combination of “skype” and “go to meeting”
Thanks!!

A friend of mine wants to start a Virtual Classroom for poor children and adults in remote rural areas of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
He hopes to achieve this by starting a Web Site where the “Students” can log in and Video Conference with volunteer Teachers from UK and USA who will Teach them Online.
To facilitate the poor villagers getting Online, we have had a lot of Multi National Companies willing to donate their old computers which will be given to these people in the remote villages as gifts. The Goverrnments there have also agreed to give them free Internet Broadband Access.
The first question is : Does my friend need to maintain a server on his side to have his Web Site in?
Second : Does he need to pay for VOIP for these people to Video Conference with him and his Volunteer Tutors?
Third : What’s the kind of hardware he needs to get and why?
Your kind assistance will be deeply appreciated!

Are there any good video-chat websites on the internet besides Stickam? I’m looking for one that allows for video conferencing…. but that is a little more “professional”.

Our world wide online support group is going to have some local meetings in various places. Any ideas for a cheap, flexible multi-site link up? It will have to be VERY simple.
Thanks.

I am being deployed to Afghanistan as part of task force Phoenix, in early Jan. 08. I have heard that the Internet is available to solders there, in wireless tents and in some cases even in their barracks. I was wondering are you available to use your own laptop and assesses sites that are non “.gov” ? I ask for Internet banking and video conferencing with family reasons.
